MatrixEP is additional tool for get detail connectivity information between server and strorage components.

General hints for the installation of the PC-/SystemArchitect
The PC-Architect and the SystemArchitect version 8.4 can be installed with the setup files directly from the web server. You can also download the setup to your PC and then install it by executing the programs. You do not need any special knowledge for a successful installation. Information windows will help to ensure a proper installation.
PC-Architect and SystemArchitect support only the following operating systems:
- Windows XP
- Windows Vista®
- Windows 7
Installation files: (klick on filenames for download)
Full version: SystemArchitect.msi (approx. 23.2 MB)
Following components will be installed
- PC-/ System-Architec version 8.4.0.0
Upgrade version: loadprog_upd.exe (approx. 9.1 MB)
The upgrade version could be used for version 8.2x or greater of PC-/SystemArchitect already installed. The components are upgraded to:
- PC-/ System-Architec version 8.4.0.4
The installation will run automatically after starting the files. For detailled installation hints please refer to inst_e.pdf and additional info for packaging see readme file.
Solution libraries: SolutionLibrary.exe (approx. 0.6 MB)
PRIMERGY: rssl.sca (RapidStructure solution library) PRIMEPOWER: pwsl.sca (PRIMEPOWER solution library)

Setting the automatic update of the configuration and price databases
The installation files do not contain configuration and price databases. These databases are provided as delta-update (to reduce the transfer volume) on the web server. In order to enable an easy handling concerning the actualisation of the databases, the PC-/SystemArchitect has a function for automatically updating the configuration and price databases. When starting the PC, the validity of the databases installed on your PC will be checked and if necessary updated. For this, a network connection to the Internet or Intra-/Extranet is required.
Only the use of these automatic updates guarantees a synchronous data basis from the configuration user to the order entry. So the error rate due to different bases can be reduced. You can find further information in chk4upd_e.pdf.
Please choose in the program "Configure check for updates" the address "http://configurator.ts.fujitsu.com/public_en"as download web server. If needed the name of the proxy server (http://proxyname, domain name or the Ip address) and the port # should be set.
Rack configuration
Please take notice the Ordermanagement needs additional following information for the manufactoring and delivering:
- Excel-Export direct from PC-/SystemArchitecten included with rack overview (graphik).
- Rack-Cheklist for the term of delivery. download(Excel file)
The excel files includes the mail address of recipients from Ordermanagemnt or Corporate logistics.
